Biography
Cathy Cahill was born in Montreal in 1972 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History from the University of Toronto. While living in Toronto, Cahill was a member of the artist collective, The Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts. For five years, she participated in group and solo exhibitions and co-ordinated 3 of Propeller’s Annual Valentine’s Day Exhibitions. In addition to her art activities, Cahill is a teacher and received a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. Cathy Cahill’s recent exhibitions include, Fuzzy, a group exhibition curated by Scott Sawtell at Oakville Galleries and Totem, a solo exhibition at Hamilton Artist’s Inc.
Cathy Cahill currently lives in Quebec’s Eastern Townships with her artist-husband, Todd Munro and 2 formerly homeless cats, Dolce and Pepe.
